Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015 REVIEW – Adam Hess-Salmon ****
Adam Hess-Salmon offers his audience an hour of brilliant quick-witted observational humour mixed with embarrassing stories from an effeminate childhood.
He uses a list which he has compiled of things that both puzzle and amaze him and this is an ingenious addition to a show where there are genuine paroxysms of joy.
Hess is a fast-paced Demetri Martin. Sometimes though, his speed causes verbal stumbling and a certain forgetfulness of where he is in his set.
But this is easily forgiven as the comic has put together a classic routine detailing what it was like growing up with two older sisters, his love of musicals, and his unusual perceptions of strange yet common situations we find ourselves in every day.
This show is free, and certainly worth going to see!
