Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015 – Maiden: A Recycled Fairy Tale
Set in a cruel, dystopian society in rural Portugal, 3Bugs Fringe Theatre proudly presents a creative adaptation of the Portuguese fairy tale, ‘The Maiden with the Rose on her Forehead’. ‘Maiden: A Recycled Fairy Tale’ is a story of long summers and cherry picking, red-hot pokers and wicked revenge, lost love and locked doors. It is a piece of recycled theatre; the set, props and costume are all created entirely from sustainable sources. The play also features live originally written folk song.
The University of Birmingham’s 3Bugs Fringe Theatre Company returns to the Fringe for its 12th year after the success of their 2014 production, ‘The Trojan Women’
