Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015 – Lucy Frederick ‘In the Wild’
Take a walk on the wild side with the hilarious Lucy Frederick! The comedian takes you on a trek around the world of pets and creatures. From creepy crawlies to cougars and ponies and porpoises – there’s something for everyone in this animal based stand-up show. Lucy grew up surrounded by a menagerie of animals, in particular by horses. Throughout the show she will be sharing some of her hysterically funny life stories and very possibly showing us her animalistic wild side!
‘In The Wild’ is Lucy’s third Edinburgh solo show, following ‘In Pursuit of Cool’ 2013 and ‘The Claw of Anxiety’ 2014.
Lucy Frederick is a regular on the London Comedy Circuit and as well as a stand-up comedian and improviser she is also a trained actress. Edinburgh 2015 will also see Lucy performing in ‘The Double Life of Malcolm Drinkwater’. A new, darkly humorous play written by Patrick Monahan and directed by Maggie Inchley of the Comedians Theatre Company. The story is centred around Malcolm, a Hitman (Patrick Monahan) and his bizarre world set on a tower block estate which includes Lewis, the target (Gary Colman), Joan, the nosey neighbour (Lucy Frederick) and Degs the mugger (Archie Maddocks). It’s a world full of double lives and hidden secrets.
