Pedestrian dies following collision with cyclist in West Lothian
Police have conformed that a pedestrian has died following a collision with a pedal cyclist in Livingston at the weekend.
The collision happened around 9am on Saturday morning (23rd May) on the Loan Footpath at its junction with Fergus Avenue.
Peter Craig (49), from Livingston who had been jogging, sustained a head injury in the collision and was taken to St John’s Hospital and then the Western General where he died.
Sergeant Gary Taylor of West Lothian police said: “This was a tragic accident and our thoughts go to Peter’s family at this very sad time.”
