Theft of silver VW Golf TDI from Dalkeith

Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from an address in Dalkeith this week.

A Silver VW Golf TDI was stolen from the property at Roman View at some time between 6.45am on Monday 16th February and 4pm on Tuesday 17th February.

The vehicle is believed to have been driven into the Edinburgh area, near to Hunters Square, around 4pm on Tuesday, before being abandoned on a footpath to the rear of Dalkeith High School.

Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour around Roman View or recognises the description of the car.
