Man due in court following Montrose Terrace attack

Police Scotland have announced that a 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with an assault that took place on Montrose Terrace on New Year’s Day.

The 35-year-old victim sustained serious facial injuries in Regent Bar at around 12:30am on Thursday, January 1.

The accused was  due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
