‘Boozy’ joins Canning at ‘Accies’
Former Hibs’ midfielder Guillame Beuzelin has stepped down from his role as assistant manager of Dumbarton to join ex team-mate Martin Canning’s new look management team at New Douglas Park
The 35-year old Frenchman formerly coached the Hibs’ youths before becoming assistant to Ian Murray at Dumbarton in the summer of 2014.
He holds an UEFA B licence and is working towards his A licence, and is also qualified at SFA Youth level 5.
‘Boozy’ helped Hibs win the CIS Cup in 2007 and was a regular co-commentator for Hibs TV where he could not disguise his love for the club.
He also played for Coventry, made seven appearances for Hamilton in 2009
Dumbarton manager Ian Murray told the club website: “I’d like to thank Guillame for all the hard work he put in and for the assistance he has given me this season.
“He goes with the best wishes and thanks of both me and everyone else at the Rock.”
Chief Executive Gilbert Lawrie added: “Boozy did well in his short-time at the club and we all appreciate his contribution.
“I’m sure he’ll do well at Hamilton and he goes with our best wishes.”
