Following the discharge of a firearm at a property on Drumbrae Terrace on Friday evening, policeĀ aim to reassure the community that they have launched an extensive enquiry to establish the full circumstances.

Chief Inspector Bob Paris said: “People in the Drumbrae area are understandably concerned following the incident on Friday evening. We have a dedicated team carrying out enquiries and we are monitoring the situation closely. Police Scotland will not tolerate such reckless and dangerous acts within our communities.

“We are continuing high visibility patrols around Drumbrae as well as carrying out door to door enquiries. Anyone with information that can assist should contact police on 101.”
