Increased concern for missing Stenhouse woman

Police in Edinburgh are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing person from the Stenhouse area of Edinburgh.

Isabel Byers (87) was last seen today getting off a bus in Gorgie Road at around 12.15pm, and has since failed to return to her home address.

Mrs Byers is suffering from a variety of medical conditions and is described as white and 5 feet tall with short steel grey short hair. She is thought to be wearing a navy quilted thigh length jacket, black shoes with a cross-over strap, a purple twinset and distinctive dark purple checked trousers and carrying a red handbag.

She may be travelling to the Portobello area of Edinburgh.
 
Police are becoming increasingly concerned for Mrs Byers and would appeal for anyone who has seen her to contact Police Scotland on 101 with information.
