Concern for missing Paisley man
Police are appealing for information to help trace a Paisley man who was last seen in Edinburgh a week ago.
Ryan McCann, who is 34-years-old, was spotted in a Scotmid store on Saughton Hall Road in the capital at around 6pm on Tuesday 21st October.
Prior to that, Ryan was last seen at 1.50pm on Saturday 18th October at Glasgow Central Station. He boarded a train to return to Paisley, where it is believed he has picked up his white Fiat 500L.
Ryan is described as 5ft 10in, of medium build and with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey and yellow Everlast jacket, a blue/navy jumper with “BROOKLYN” written in white across the front and white trainers.
It is thought that he may be sleeping in his Fiat 500L car, which is white with black trimmings. The car is more distinctive than a regular Fiat 500L, with a longer body and slightly larger wheel arches.
Police Constable Eddie McLemon, who is based at Paisley Police Office, said: “Police and family members have become increasingly concerned for Ryan and would like to speak to anyone that has seen him since 1.50pm on Saturday 18th October or knows his present whereabouts to get in touch with us.
“We would also like Ryan to get in touch with us to confirm he is safe and well.”
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ryan is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 and ask to speak to the Paisley incident room.
