The team behind the unique game have already had to giveaway a fair few meals in the past week already. A spokesperson for Tuk Tuk said: “After being open for a year, we wanted to add an interesting twist for our diners on a Monday night.

“It’s the start of the week and most people are dreading the working week ahead, so we thought why not introduce Makta Mondays to brighten up some lucky diners day.

“So far the response has been fantastic as most people don’t expect to roll a six, but we’ve been amazed at how much the luck has been on their side.”

With the summer weather in full swing, Tuk Tuk has also introduced five new dishes, all reflecting the light airy meals that would be typically enjoyed in India during the sweaty monsoon season.

These new dishes include: beef vindaloo, rassa omelette, chicken korma, Amritsari Machchi and Kaale Daal. This adds to the already extensive options of meat and vegetable dishes served in small tapas style portions.

TUK TUK is perfect for families or friends wanting to celebrate a special occasion or just looking for a twist to traditional Indian cuisine and their bring your own bottle policy (with no corkage fee) also keeps the prices low. Its easy for those of you sunning yourselves all day on the Meadows to head over, and its location opposite the King’s theatre makes it perfect for pre-theatre dining.

So if you are feeling lucky or just fancy a taste of Indian street food head on down to TUK TUK soon!
