Man due in court following Royal Edinburgh assaults

A 49-year-old man is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today after having  been arrested and charged following two assaults at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.

A 43-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man sustained superficial injuries during the incident, which happened around 3.45pm yesterday.
