You might also take a picnic to the Botanic Gardens if the weather is fair. The gardens and Inverleith Park beside the Botanics is a great resource for our city. You might combine this with some learning if you are a gardener as they have a drop in session running today on Edible Gardening. More details here.

Tonight at the Voodoo Rooms there is a blues night. Not just any blues night but the Edinburgh Blues Club.
“This club was established in late 2013 to harness popular support for a regular blues night in Edinburgh and ensure that the city and surrounding areas do not miss out on quality touring blues acts.
EBC aims to provide regular monthly live blues events in Edinburgh featuring touring blues acts from the UK and beyond, with support from the finest local blues artists. The Edinburgh Blues Club is run on a member subscription basis, where club members pay £10 per month in return for access to the monthly events and newsletter. ”
