Concern for missing Edinburgh man

Police are appealing for information to help trace a 21 year old man who has been reported missing in Edinburgh today.

Gary Spurling was last seen at his home on Lady Nairne Crescent at around 4.00am this morning.

Officers are increasingly concerned for his whereabouts and would like to appeal to Gary, or to anyone who may have seen him, to contact police immediately.

Gary is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, short fair hair, and a beard along the jaw line. He was last seen wearing a red hooded jumper, a grey baseball cap, navy blue jogging bottoms and navy trainers.

Inspector John Brock from Police Scotland said: “We are increasingly concerned about Gary, as are his loved ones. If anyone has any information that can assist with our enquiries, they are urged to contact police on 101.”
