Edinburgh’s Chop Chop restaurants two of UK’s best

Edinburgh’s Chop Chop restaurants in Haymarket and Leith are two of only 32 Chinese restaurants in the UK to be awarded a Pagoda and be listed in The Legacy of Taste Eating Out Guide.

Organised by Legacy of Taste, the organisation responsible for heralding Chinese restaurants in the UK, the Pagoda is a new restaurant accolade only given to the best Chinese restaurants. The Legacy of Taste judging panel, which consists of Michelin starred Chinese chefs, Chinese TV chefs and experts on Chinese food and drink in the UK, rates the restaurants on authenticity of cooking methods and ingredients as well as service, general ambience and attention to detail.

The restaurant’s Pagoda awards mean people can now search for the restaurants by location in the Legacy of Taste Eating Out Guide.

James Wright, founder, Legacy of Taste, says: “The UK has some of the best Chinese culinary talent outside of China and The Legacy of Taste Pagodas herald the best of the best establishments. “Chop Chop has demonstrated exceptional standards to have been awarded a Pagoda.” For further information about Legacy of Taste and the Pagoda Awards please visit www.legacyoftaste.co.uk.
