Muirhouse wants your used stamps
Tenants group of the year Tenants and Residents In Muirhouse will be supporting Epilepsy Scotland
Here at TRIM we are always willing to do what we can to help different charities, this time Epilepsy Scotland needs our help.
They need stamps from Christmas cards and letters, so when you get your mail and it has a stamp on it, please simply cut around it leaving a one inch border and hand them in to the community shop on Pennywell Road.
The more stamps the charity receive the more cash they will get.
”In Scotland 54,000 people live with epilepsy. Children and older people are most at risk of developing this common serious neurological condition but anyone can develop epilepsy at any time, and 8 people a day in Scotland do. We want to make sure the needs of people with epilepsy are met. This is why we campaign for improved healthcare, better information provision and an end to stigma. In April 2008 Enlighten, Tackling Epilepsy merged with Epilepsy Scotland.”
So whether it’s first class or second class stamps, they will accept them all.
