Man charged will appear in court today

A man has been arrested and charged with the alleged murder of a 40-year-old male in Edinburgh.

The victim was found dead within a property in Milton Street yesterday evening, 6 July and a major police investigation was launched, after which the man was quickly detained.

The 47-year-old is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday 8 July 2013.
