Company Bal presents the world premiere of La Poème, a joyously strange solo performance by actress, ventriloquist, juggler, contortionist and stubborn feminist Jeanne Mordoj.  Fascinating, intense and funny, La Poème mixes belly dancing, breast juggling, disembodied singing and the constant presence of eggs to delve deep into aspects of femininity.  Mordoj is a cult figure in her native France where she is renowned for her solo show as a bearded woman.
