Now one of our readers has the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to attend the talk given by Mikael Colville-Andersen CEO of Copenhagenize Design Co., on Bicycle Culture by Design on Saturday 15 June 2013.
‘Considering Design as a Placemaking Solution for Liveable Cities’
Copenhagenize.com started in 2007, highlighting the cycling life in Copenhagen. Forty years ago Copenhagen was just as car-clogged as anywhere else, but now many of the population arriving at work or education do so on bicycles, from all over the Metro area. They all use over 1000 km of bicycle lanes in Greater Copenhagen for their journeys. Copenhagenizing is possible anywhere.
To win the tickets answer this question:- What percentage of the population arriving at work or education do so on bicycles, from all over the Copenhagen Metro area?
CLUE – You will find the answer on the EDFOC website….
Send your answer by email theedinburghreporter@gmail.com with ‘Festival of Cycling Copenhagenize’ in the subject line to arrive by Sunday 9 June 2013 at 10:00pm.
