Police ask for witnesses to North Berwick collision

Police are appealing for information following a serious road collision that happened in North Berwick yesterday evening.

The incident happened around or before 9.30pm, on the unclassified road leading to Blackdykes Farm Cottages.

A red Mazda Premacy collided with a tree after leaving the road, and the 38-year-old driver suffered serious injuries.

He was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where he remains in a serious condition.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the vehicle being driven in the North Berwick area prior to the collision to contact them on 101.
