Edinburgh Reporter Radio popped along to the Scottish Poetry Library to find out about a series of free, open-air events that the Library is holding during August.
The Courtyard Readings are hosted by a selection of established poets – including our interviewee, Anne Connolly – but they also encourage newcomers to give their works an airing. Participation is not essential, however, and non-poets are welcome to come along and enjoy the performances.
The Courtyard Readings will take place at 2.00-3.00pm every day from 13 to 25 August 2012 (except Sunday 19 August).
You can view the full programme on the Scottish Poetry Library website.
