Japanese Piano Concert – Free!

 

A talented young Japanese concert pianist, Mr Shinnosuke Inugai, will make his concert debut in Edinburgh this month. The Consulate General of Japan and the Japan Society of Scotland have joined forces to bring this talented musician here.

 

Mr Inugai is a distinguished young Japanese pianist who started playing piano at the age of 6. In 2003, he won the championship at the first Tokyo Music Contest when he was a student of the Toho Gakuen School of Music. Finishing top of his class, he had the honour of playing piano in the presence of the Emperor and Empress.

 

He moved to Frankfurt in 2007 to attend the Frankfurt University of Music. He has won prizes at numerous contests and has performed in Germany, Japan and various other countries.

 

This special performance in Edinburgh will include pieces by Mozart, Schumann and Debussy.
