Almond Neighbourhood Partnership meeting 18 October 2011
The Almond Neighbourhood Partnership meets on 18 October 2011.
The agenda includes discussion of a community plan – signing ceremony, the Drumbrae Library hub, a report by the Neighbourhood Manager on the Community Grants Fund as well as a dedicated slot for public questions.
An important item on the agenda however, will be the community plan for winter weather, following ‘The Big Freeze’ of 2010.
Last winter’s weather caused difficulties not only in the capital, but all across Scotland and other parts of the UK.
Convenor Norman Work, is set to be officially appointed in his role at tomorrow’s meeting.
The meeting will take place at Newbridge Bowling Club, beginning at 7pm until 9.30pm. Partnership officers will be available from 6.30pm for those wishing to raise any other issues prior to the meeting.
The Almond Neighbourhood Partnership includes the areas of South Queensferry, Dalmeny, Cramond, Davidson’s Mains, Silverknowes, Kirkliston, Ratho Station and Newbridge which has a population of around 26,000.
