Al Megrahi lives

Following the controversial decision by The Scottish Government to release Abdel baset Al Megrahi, the Lockerbie bomber, on compassionate grounds, The Scotsman reports that he is expected to live for about another 20 years…..

Of course in his case there is nothing that can now be done. He cannot be put back in prison.

There are calls for the full medical evidence to be released. There were allegations at the time of his release that the medical evidence was not made by a cancer specialist.

No matter what is discussed now it is a case of stable door and horse. So what do you think? Was The Scottish Government coerced by other factors into making the decision to release the convicted bomber and did they make the facts fit the circumstances?
